  Mormons and JW's preaching on my street....lol

  friday afternoon, i was in front of my apartment building, walking my cat .

  then yesterday, it was the jw's to be on my street.

  what's funny is that i don't see mormons more than once per 3 years and the witnesses not more than once a year on this street.

  the bible is chock full of information about the supernatural - ghosts, demons, spirits - and the list goes on.. the apostles, jesus, and god spoke of the supernatural.

  the bible says that the supernatural is real.

  Our neighbor lady hated JWs and was a witch. She was very angry that her pronouncements of our deaths never came true but she did put curses on us. She would babble when putting curses on us but she would then say "NOW you will suffer." She put a curse on me one day when I was around 10 because I went in her yard to retrieve my brother's ball. That night, while I was sleeping in my bed I woke up feeling something moving at my feet. It was a large snake and it continued up to my chest. I felt a very heavy pressure on my chest and I had difficulty breathing. I tried to yell but couldn't get enough breath. I started to whisper "Jehovah" and it backed up a bit and I could breath better. I screamed then. Dad came and said a prayer with me. She put curses on my brother repeatedly and he'd have a blue dog try to kill him that night. He was always in trouble. Couldn't seem to stop himself. I believe the supernatural exists. To what extent, I don't know and I won't assume either.

  Also, there are so many people I know that have had experiences at the time a loved one dies or shortly thereafter, myself included. Where does this come from? I don't know if it is "real" or just brought on by the loss. I would like to think that, especially in the case of knowing exactly when the loved one died, there is something to it.

  Would you fight and possibly die for your country?

  i want to put this in the right frame, as what is happening in iraq is not about dying for our countries.

  so this is what i mean by this question.. if a foreign government were to suddenly invade your country.

  would you be willing to join the arm forces to fight for your country, knowing full well that you may die having never been able to reap the benefits of any possible victory?

  We are well armed and not afraid to use it, if need be. I would not hesitate to kill in self-defense. Really, if the country was invaded and the citizens all waited for the gov't to save our butts, there would be more lost and perhaps all. Natural disasters like Hurrican Katrina show you can't expect governments to come through for their people. Just like a personal attack, invasion of country is personal. If not stopped, it would mean the end of life as you know it. Each citizen would need to do what they could to stop it. I understand many couldn't kill another but there would be something each person could do to rally up a strong fight.

  animal activists' abattoir protest backfires

  animal activists bit off more than they could chew this morning when they chained themselves to the killing area of an abattoir at ipswich in south-east queensland.. the 12 protesters got a fright when meatworkers took matters into their own hands and used angle grinders to cut the chains off the activists so they could get back to work.. the group had hoped their actions would disrupt the world meat congress, which is under way in brisbane.. protester angie stephenson says it was terrifying.. "the workers, they were standing around cheering and whooping and yelling and making lewd comments so we had to call the police and tell them to get out here straight away," she said.. police escorted the group off the site and no arrests have been made.. abattoir management has declined to comment.

  I have it from the source, my soon to me ex-husband, the book being studied is "What Does The Bible Really Teach? He says this is a 2005 publication. He is trying SOOOO hard to rehabilitate me as a JW and keep me as his wifypoo.
